Salary: $140,000 - $215,000

What you will do

• Operate and automate properly configured clusters for Cassandra, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Develop infrastructure services to enable a full devops model for the engineering team.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support to troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues.
• Ensure the safety, security, and availability of petabytes of critical business data.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work hybrid in Santa Clara, CA (2-3 days on-site).
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Salt, or Kubernetes, and/or strong Ruby experience.
• Expertise with large-scale datastores (Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Kafka, etc.).
• Proven experience with large-scale, business-critical Linux environments.
• Experience operating within cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or OCI.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or Engineering.
