Solutions Engineer (Enterprise)

Location: Must reside in the surrounding Madison, WI area to support business needs.

Salary: $160,000–$260,000 (base + bonus).

What you will do

• Collaborate with account teams to evaluate customer data center environments and infrastructure.
• Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners.
• Provide product training and technical education to sales teams and customers.
• Act as a trusted IT advisor for clients, including CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs.
• Manage the solution practice pipeline and develop strategies for top prospects.

Requirements

• Must reside in the surrounding Madison, WI area.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Intermediate experience in complex Data Center sales and infrastructure design.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, hypervisors, containerization, and automation.
• Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer events.

• Advanced certification in technologies such as Dell, Cisco, VMware, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, Azure, AWS, or Veeam.
