What you will do

• Provide secure, stable, and performant Linux kernel builds for hirify.global Linux
• Diagnose performance regressions and crashes to develop upstream-suitable code fixes
• Collaborate and interact with the upstream Linux kernel community
• Plan, design, and develop new kernel functionality as needed
• Mentor and hire engineers to grow the technical capabilities of the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Proven experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Demonstrated history of Linux kernel development, low-level device driver development, or equivalent

Nice to have

• Knowledge of system performance, memory management, and parallel computing principles
• Experience with open source tools and resources
