What you will do

• Negotiate and draft a wide range of commercial agreements, including data licensing, master framework agreements, and NDAs.
• Develop and refine contracting playbooks using AI tooling to streamline high-volume commercial operations.
• Enable sales and commercial teams to self-serve on standard agreements through robust, simplified templates.
• Represent the company externally in negotiations and strategic discussions.
• Troubleshoot complex, high-risk edge cases that fall outside standard contracting templates.
• Collaborate directly with the General Counsel and founders to shape the company's commercial strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law required.
• Strong experience in commercial contracting, ideally within a SaaS, financial data, or index provider business.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume commercial work with efficiency and critical thinking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong collaborative skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.

Nice to have

• English law degree or qualification as a lawyer.
• Experience with data licensing arrangements on either the supplier or customer side.
• Strong academic record.
