What you will do

• Act as the primary legal contact for institutional investors and asset managers on deal-side compliance.
• Analyze complex transaction structures to identify counterparties and conduct risk analysis covering AML, bribery, corruption, and financial crime.
• Review fund structures, SPVs, and trusts to map corporate ownership and fund flows under deal timeline pressure.
• Coordinate with deal teams and counterparties to gather necessary materials to complete reviews.
• Collaborate with client legal teams to ensure transactions meet AML/CTF regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer licensed to practice in the UK or Europe.
• 4-6+ years PQE in regulatory or investment compliance.
• Experience representing asset managers, institutional investors, or financial services clients.
• Deep familiarity with SPVs, offshore vehicles, and multi-jurisdictional counterparties in a live deal context.
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
