What you will do

• Define platform requirements for data lifecycle management, including publish, versioning, deprecation, and retention policies.
• Drive API enablement and content distribution to support scalable, multi-tenant access models and high-speed Data-as-a-Service.
• Develop requirements for geospatial and attribute-based content discovery and metadata cataloging.
• Establish success metrics, telemetry, and SLA requirements to ensure platform performance meets business expectations.
• Collaborate with Architects and Engineering to translate vertical use cases into structured PRDs and reusable platform capabilities.
• Align research, engineering, and go-to-market stakeholders on the scalable delivery of the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Technical or Platform Product Management, preferably with enterprise-caliber geospatial data platforms.
• Strong expertise in API ecosystems, data lifecycle management, taxonomy development, and logical data modeling.
• Experience defining distribution data formats for enterprise-scale geospatial customers.
• Proven ability to work in close partnership with Architecture and Engineering in a shared-ownership model.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or equivalent.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Perth, Australia.

Nice to have

• Background in geospatial data, imagery, and spatial analytics.
• Experience with enterprise data management platforms such as OpenSearch, PostGIS, and RedShift.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers at scale.
• Experience working across distributed global teams.
