Salary: $87,400 - $123,400

What you will do

• Lead discovery sessions to translate business objectives into scalable technical API-first solutions.
• Analyze REST APIs, OpenAPI specifications, JSON payloads, and integration patterns.
• Perform advanced SQL analysis to validate requirements and troubleshoot complex datasets.
• Develop detailed source-to-target data mappings and document data lineage across systems.
• Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical functional specifications.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools (ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance analysis and documentation productivity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting Agile software engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of REST, JSON, HTTP methods, and API design principles.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying and analyzing complex datasets.
• Experience with cloud-native applications and AWS environments.
• Proficiency in writing detailed user stories and technical documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience in Wealth Management, Brokerage, Banking, or Financial Services.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and API security.
• Experience with Hoppscotch or similar API testing tools.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with Datadog or Amazon CloudWatch.
