What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and prepare management accounts for two companies within a strict 6-day timeframe.
• Manage weekly sales reporting, forecasting, and monthly balance sheet reviews to identify and mitigate risks.
• Ensure full compliance with external audits, HMRC, and corporate governance requirements.
• Coordinate timely submission of VAT (UK & ROI), Intrastat, ONS, and PAYE returns.
• Collaborate with the Director of Credit and Compliance to refine credit policies and improve commercial efficiencies.
• Manage direct reports and embed a high-performance culture within the finance function.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Visible and credible leadership skills with experience managing direct reports.
• Strong attention to detail and a proven track record of driving KPI performance.
• Knowledge of Sage or SAP is preferable.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
