What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define product requirements and shared problem understanding.
• Develop frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript and backend services with modern Java 14+.
• Write clean, simple, and extensible code that is maintainable for the whole team.
• Ensure high quality through thorough testing and diligent code reviews.
• Take individual ownership of complex full-stack problems and deliver incremental value.
• Mentor other engineers and promote the adoption of engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Experience with React, TypeScript, and Java.
• Strong ability to embrace ambiguity and a drive for incremental delivery.
• Excellent asynchronous communication skills in both written and spoken language.
• Location: Must be based in Vancouver, BC for a hybrid work arrangement.
