Salary: $123,000 – $172,000 USD (USA) / $111,000 – $155,000 CAD (Canada)

What you will do

• Code, test, debug, and maintain production software systems for new and existing product features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the development cycle to ensure smooth releases.
• Solve technical problems in a scalable and realistic way in coordination with teammates and project managers.
• Mentor junior and new team members through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and pair programming.
• Participate in planning by identifying major tasks and breaking down, estimating, and planning work.
• Perform on-call rotational work to ensure uninterrupted support and resolve emergencies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in Go.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• Proven experience in software development best practices and coding standards.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical cross-functional partners.
• Strong passion for testing methodologies and debugging techniques to ensure high-quality code.

Nice to have

• Experience building frontends using TypeScript and React.
