What you will do

• Balance inventory targets, customer service levels, and forecast accuracy for assigned SKUs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve supply issues and ensure efficient delivery of inventory.
• Utilize MRPs and planning tools to review inventory projections and prevent potential shortages or excessive inventory.
• Optimize purchasing loads by combining products and pre-ordering to reduce procurement costs.
• Ensure accuracy of all purchase order data to support sales, operations, and transportation teams.
• Conduct business and performance reviews with key suppliers on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain/Operations, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills including data manipulation, pivots, and vlookups.
• Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to process improvement and ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Bedford Park, IL location in a hybrid capacity.

• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of integrated planning software.
