What you will do

• Lead the zero-to-one development of the Spatial System, including image pipelines and collaborative editing protocols.
• Design a modular, plugin-based architecture to support data overlay across 8+ product lines.
• Oversee data ingestion strategies to transform blueprints and CAD files into structured vector data using ML.
• Build and mentor a founding team of 4-6 engineers, establishing high-performance engineering standards.
• Partner with other product engineering leads to ensure a unified user experience across the platform.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Mateo, CA
• Proven experience in zero-to-one product execution and building high-utility technical foundations.
• Deep expertise in complex web or mobile application development with high-performance rendering requirements.
• Strong grasp of modern frontend architectures and performance trade-offs (WebGL/WebGPU).
• Experience building sophisticated data pipelines for unstructured data at scale.
• Ability to negotiate technical boundaries and communicate strategy across cross-functional teams.
