What you will do

• Build and optimize user-facing experiences that improve how people discover and get started with the platform
• Develop scalable backend systems that serve dynamic, high-performance content
• Work across the full stack using TypeScript, React, and Python
• Design and run A/B experiments to measure the impact on user acquisition and activation
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to identify growth opportunities
• Maintain performance and reliability standards for user-facing properties

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production web products
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and React
• Practical experience with Python and backend frameworks such as Flask
• Experience designing and running A/B tests with a focus on data-driven decision making
• Comfort working across the full stack and taking ownership of projects end to end
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area

Nice to have

• Prior experience on growth-focused engineering teams
• Experience building SEO infrastructure or working with LLMs
• Mobile development experience
