Director, Revenue & CoGS Accounting (SaaS)

What you will do

• Lead global Revenue, AR, and CoGS accounting functions, managing strategic subledger operations and journal entry frameworks.
• Integrate technical accounting policies into high-volume global workflows to ensure precise financial reporting.
• Define and drive the scalable operational vision for ERP workflows and revenue automation using Oracle RMCS and Zuora.
• Deliver sophisticated variance analysis to uncover the drivers behind financial performance fluctuations.
• Collaborate with GTM, Product, Pricing, and FP&A leaders to evaluate the operational feasibility of new commercial initiatives.
• Own the global control framework and evolve SOX compliance and internal audit strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 6+ years in revenue accounting and 8+ years leading management-level teams.
• Significant experience working within a large, fast-paced public company environment.
• Expert-level understanding of ASC 606, deferred revenue, and complex CoGS structures in SaaS or usage-based environments.
• Deep experience with enterprise ERPs (Oracle, SAP) and specialized revenue subledgers (Zuora Revenue, RMCS).
• Expert knowledge of the SOX framework and track record of maintaining compliance controls for high-volume data.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent certification.
• Prior experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm.
• Experience transitioning from traditional SaaS to consumption-based/usage-based revenue models.
• Experience in the CPaaS and/or telecommunications industries.
