What you will do

• Develop and execute automated and manual scanning programs for complex parts.
• Interpret engineering documentation, including 2D drawings, 3D models, and GD&T specifications.
• Perform dimensional inspections using conventional tools to verify parts against CAD requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality, throughput, and delivery targets.
• Maintain and improve standard program libraries, templates, and best practices.
• Communicate non-conformances and inspection results to engineering and leadership teams.

Requirements

• Must be able to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• Working knowledge of inspection and documentation procedures.
• Ability to interpret GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with 2D and 3D inspections using optical systems like Scanbox or Hexagon laser scanning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• CMM programming experience.
• Python scripting skills.
