What you will do

• Lead engineering efforts for physical AI, autonomy, and sensor-driven systems.
• Design and optimize scalable ingestion pipelines for high-volume sensor and telematics data.
• Architect cloud-native solutions using microservices and event-driven patterns on AWS.
• Drive engineering standards, CI/CD practices, and operational maturity across scrum teams.
• Partner with data architects and product leaders to translate innovative concepts into production systems.
• Mentor engineering teams and foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Must be based in Irving, Texas
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with significant technical leadership.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or Java.
• Deep expertise in system design, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong experience with streaming and batch data processing (e.g., Kafka, Spark, Flink).
• Proven ability to lead technical strategy in highly ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with sensor-based data domains like LiDAR, radar, or computer vision.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with SRE and platform reliability practices.
