What you will do

• Design, document, and drive the platform’s architectural vision for scalability, reliability, security, and business alignment.
• Own complex end-to-end initiatives from architecture through development, deployment, and iteration in ambiguous product areas.
• Unify hirify.global’s data into a trusted, high-quality source for generating intelligence.
• Architect least-privilege access for AI agents with strong isolation and enforceable privacy guarantees.
• Build systems that convert intelligence into personalized insights and actions for customer and family protection.
• Set and champion engineering best practices for security, privacy, observability, testing, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping complex, large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end ownership (architecture through production operations) as the technical voice on major projects.
• Expertise in software design best practices, data structures/algorithms, and distributed-systems fundamentals.
• In-depth cloud expertise and strong judgment across serverless vs. containers, relational vs. NoSQL, and appropriate use of caches, queues, and data-processing pipelines.
• Experience building systems handling sensitive or regulated data with security and privacy as first-class design constraints.
• US-based candidate requirement; strong communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Production experience with AI/LLM-powered systems (agents, retrieval pipelines, evaluation, or LLM observability).
• Background in security, privacy engineering, or trust & safety.
• Experience with large-scale data platforms and data-intensive systems.
• Experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code.
