What you will do

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on automated machinery, conveyor systems, robotics, and other facility equipment.
• Execute preventative maintenance (lubrication, calibration, and parts replacement) to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Maintain maintenance documentation (work orders, equipment logs, inventory records) and add PM tasks/parts into the CMMS.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize automated systems and implement process improvements.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA requirements; help maintain a clean and safe work environment and assist with training new technicians/operators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Proven maintenance technician experience in a highly automated environment (distribution center or manufacturing facility preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting complex equipment including conveyors, robotics, PLCs, and automated storage systems.
• Ability to work and troubleshoot 240VAC, 480VAC, and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Flexibility to work shifts and respond to emergency maintenance situations as required.
