What you will do

• Lead technical initiatives for new hardware products from concept to launch.
• Translate customer requirements into technical specifications for design, testing, and manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Industrial Design, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Promote and implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Lean Engineering concepts.
• Manage relationships and technical alignment with contract and joint development manufacturers (CMs & JDMs).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams to guide strategic product decisions.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of product development experience with multiple successful product launches.
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of ODM, JDM, and CM partnerships and design ownership boundaries.
• Expertise in electro-mechanical machinery, plastic molded parts, metal structures, and electronic components.
• Willingness to travel internationally to support development programs with manufacturing partners.

• Experience in the fitness industry or similar consumer hardware product development.
