Associate Staff Design Modeling Engineer (IoT)

Salary: $124,600–$231,400 USD annual base pay

What you will do

• Architect and develop hardware/software solutions for product requirements.
• Build functional and performance models for IP development and architectural analysis.
• Develop virtual hardware platforms for simulation and enable virtual hardware development.
• Collaborate with hardware and software architects to define and validate future products.
• Propose hardware architecture improvements and develop application-level and driver-level software.
• Maintain the modeling framework and mentor junior modelers through technical leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a similar field.
• Required proficiency in C or C++, object-oriented programming, Embedded C or Assembly, and Linux scripting.
• Experience with hardware architecture or modeling and with building executables and libraries from source.
• Experience with a modeling framework such as Renode, Python, Modern C++, or SystemC.
• Experience with digital design, verification, CMake, Visual Studio Code, RTL simulation, revision control, or continuous integration is beneficial.
