TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer, Tooling (Fullstack/Web3): Developing customer-facing platform tooling for onboarding, compliance, and support systems with an accent on end-to-end product ownership and AI-driven development. Location: Must be based in New York City (in-person twice a week)

Salary: $140,000 - $200,000

What you will do

• Design and deploy end-to-end customer-facing features across backend services, web, and mobile.
• Build platform tooling for onboarding, KYC/identity, and customer support workflows serving millions of users.
• Utilize and improve an agentic AI development pipeline to automate toil and accelerate shipping.
• Own the full DevOps lifecycle, including building, validating, monitoring, and maintaining products.
• Provide technical input for planning and design, balancing speed and quality for new features.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the overall technical direction and engineering culture.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and maintaining production systems at scale.
• Ability to work across multiple layers of the stack (backend plus web and/or mobile).
• Proficiency in a typed language (TypeScript, Scala, Java, or Go) and JS/TS for frontend surfaces.
• Experience building consumer-facing applications with strong UX/UI sensibility.
• Fluency in using AI coding tools and automation in everyday workflows.
• Expertise in unit and integration testing and a commitment to code health.

Nice to have

• Experience in the crypto or fintech industry.
• Background in onboarding, identity/KYC, compliance, or customer support tooling.
• Experience building and operating AI agents or agentic workflows in production.
• Familiarity with React, React Native, and cloud/microservices architecture.
• Experience influencing product decisions through data and experimentation.
