Marketing Coordinator

TL;DR

Marketing Coordinator (Partnerships & Activations): Building and running a celebrity and cultural partnership program from scratch with an accent on execution-heavy coordination across evangelists, gifting, real-time activations, and vendor/production logistics. Focus on keeping the program on the rails with budgets, trackers, and same-day/next-day fulfillment across multiple time zones.

Location: San Francisco (in-office several days a week), with travel to New York, LA, and elsewhere as needed.

Compensation: $10K–$13K per month + generous equity grant; 401k matching; relocation bonus; health, vision, dental insurance.

What you will do

• Run the evangelist program operations: onboarding, coordinating shoot dates/stage appearances/content deadlines, and sending prep briefs and collecting results.
• Source and produce high-end custom gifting for celebrity investors and partners, ensuring each piece feels personalized.
• Execute real-time activations on a same-day or next-day clock when cultural moments open up or competitors shift.
• Manage sourcing, vendors, production, fulfillment partners, and couriers; negotiate with vendors and keep activation budgets on target.
• Support one-off builds by turning partnership concepts into real moments.
• Maintain program tracking: master schedule across partners/time zones, activation costs vs. budget, promo codes/results, and operational follow-through.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience coordinating real-world events/activations/gifting/production or similar partnership execution.
• Strong organization and reliability: no dropped details in a high-volume, multi-thread program.
• Comfort with budgets, trackers, and spreadsheets; ability to know and report the real numbers.
• Good taste and attention to detail to distinguish high-impact gifts and moments from forgettable ones.
• Ability to move fast with ambiguity and make smart decisions without waiting for perfect information.
• Willingness to work in-office several days a week in San Francisco and travel to New York, LA, and elsewhere as needed.
