What you will do

• Engineer mount system solutions for new vehicle programs from a clean sheet of paper.
• Perform physical integration, packaging, and functional performance assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CAE, Design Studio, and Manufacturing to develop optimal solutions.
• Manage solution imperatives such as cost, tooling, mass, and quality.
• Lead technical peer reviews and subsystem DFMEA projects.
• Ensure CAD data in Unigraphics and TeamCenter is maintained and updated.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or extensive equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mount system product engineering or analysis.
• Proficiency in Unigraphics CAD and TeamCenter.
• Ability to work in an early-stage, rapidly evolving design environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the US as GM does not provide immigration sponsorship.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in mount system product engineering.
• DFSS Green or Black belt certification.
• Master's degree in Engineering.
• Ability to create UG CAD sketches.
