What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and lakehouse architectures using Databricks.
• Build and maintain knowledge graphs using RDF and OWL standards.
• Develop semantic data models and ontologies to represent complex business domains.
• Implement graph database solutions using Neo4j for relationship-driven use cases.
• Manage data governance, access control, and lineage using Unity Catalog.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to align data models with organizational needs.

Requirements

• Must be based in Colombia
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering with production-grade pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog.
• Practical experience with RDF, OWL, and Neo4j.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or Scala.
• Solid understanding of relational, dimensional, and graph-based data modeling.

Nice to have

• Experience with SPARQL query language.
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience integrating semantic data with AI, ML, or GenAI applications.
• Knowledge of enterprise metadata management frameworks.
