What you will do
- Set up and operate CNC routers and machining centers for woodworking.
- Load materials and programs according to production specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production schedules.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections using precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to support continuous improvement and waste reduction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to work onsite in East Greenville, PA.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills for production data entry.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice to have
- Previous CNC operation experience in a woodworking or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with woodworking-specific CNC software.
- Knowledge of CNC programming fundamentals.
- Experience in cabinet, furniture, or architectural wood products manufacturing.
