What you will do

• Develop and manage a large portfolio of planned gift prospects and donors in the Eastern US.
• Solicit donors for planned gifts and generate new leads to ensure a healthy financial future for humanitarian work.
• Implement engagement and stewardship strategies, including organizing an annual in-person event in NYC.
• Plan and execute regional donor trips to maximize geographic clusters of prospects.
• Collaborate with Major and Principal Giving colleagues to integrate planned giving into their portfolios.
• Maintain accurate donor data and track pipeline activity within Salesforce.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience working with individual donors on complex giving conversations.
• Knowledge of planned giving vehicles and benefits.
• Ability to work on-site in the NYC office (Hybrid).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including overnight travel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM databases such as Salesforce or Raiser’s Edge.
