Cybersecurity Team Lead (Cybersecurity): Leading a cross-functional Tiger Team to drive high-priority security initiatives, remediation activities, and strategic governance with an accent on operational effectiveness and risk management. Focus on coordinating subject-matter experts, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality security outcomes in a complex, hybrid environment.

Location: Must be based in Irving, TX, USA (Hybrid: 4 days per week in office)

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team focused on high-priority cybersecurity remediation and strategic initiatives.
• Establish priorities, assign work, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of organizational objectives.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management to foster professional growth.
• Coordinate activities among cybersecurity, technology, and business stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
• Track and communicate initiative status, risks, and dependencies to leadership.
• Review deliverables and governance artifacts to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• 5-7 years of experience in large, complex business environments.
• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related technical domains.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including delegation and performance management.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity governance frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• 2-3 years of experience securing cloud deployments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container security, and Kubernetes.
• Experience managing infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines.
