What you will do

• Develop policies, standards, and procedures in accordance with NIST 800-37, 800-53, and FISMA.
• Design and deploy comprehensive security architectures to protect networks and applications.
• Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure federal compliance (NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP).
• Handle security incidents and contribute to the development of incident response playbooks.
• Monitor network traffic and analyze security logs to detect and investigate anomalies.
• Manage and report on Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for customer systems.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and Public Trust clearance are required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT plus 10 years of related experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC.
• Proven experience in security engineering within Federal Government Agencies or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of NIST and FISMA cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.
• Knowledge of firewalls, SIEM, encryption, and authentication protocols.
