What you will do

• Lead installation, commissioning, calibration, and qualification of new and evolving IBD systems.
• Independently diagnose and resolve complex electro-mechanical, vacuum, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic issues.
• Act as the primary escalation point for early-life tool behavior, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Partner with internal Engineering and Product teams to influence tool reliability, usability, and serviceability.
• Collaborate daily with customer engineering teams during process development and performance validation.
• Author structured service reports and technical recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in field service for complex electro-mechanical equipment.
• Hands-on expertise with vacuum systems and semiconductor capital equipment.
• Experience working in semiconductor fab environments and strict adherence to cleanroom protocols.
• Must be based in the Boise, Idaho metropolitan area.
