What you will do

• Design and develop new reactor systems and components using SolidWorks.
• Oversee the manufacturing of machined components and guide designs from R&D to production.
• Manage prototyping, documentation, and fabrication processes with machine shops and vendors.
• Troubleshoot existing reactor designs to improve productivity and yield.
• Apply expertise in kinematics, thermals, and fluids to optimize reactor performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new reactor assemblies and parts.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical, aerospace, or similar engineering discipline.
• 0-3 years of professional experience in mechanical design.
• High proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify).
• Must be able to work on-site in the Bay Area.
• Understanding of manufacturing methods and industrial machine tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with vacuum system design in semiconductor or aerospace industries.
• Understanding of electromechanical components and PLC systems.
• Foundation in thermal or fluid modeling.
