What you will do

• Take charge of major headlines with innovative showcasing and storytelling.
• Produce, write, and edit news segments for television and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with an experienced team of journalists to create memorable newscasts.
• Participate in long-form projects for streaming services.
• Contribute story ideas based on the NBC Connecticut News Strategy.
• Fill in as a producer for other newscasts as needed.

Requirements

• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work on-site in West Hartford, CT.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work any shift, including holidays and weekends.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic editing skills on non-linear programs.
