What you will do

• Serve as a daily newscast producer and multiplatform content creator for WNJU and WNBC platforms.
• Write, produce, and desktop edit content, ensuring high-quality visual storytelling.
• Lead editorial meetings and propose unique enterprise story ideas to drive coverage.
• Manage and mentor a team of Content Producers to deliver compelling and relevant news stories.
• Utilize advanced graphic tools and social media to enhance and distribute content.
• Collaborate with reporters, anchors, and Executive Producers to ensure fair and accurate local coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in newsgathering and television production in a major market.
• Strong skills in newsroom writing, producing, and desktop editing.
• Proficiency across broadcast, web, and mobile media platforms.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to support inclusive storytelling.
• Must be located in or willing to work in New York City and available for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
