Software Engineer (DoD)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Review and test software components to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Resolve software problem reports and perform system-level troubleshooting.
• Provide input on hardware/software tradeoffs and COTS/GOTS integration.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps automation.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
• Must be able to work full-time on-site in Hanover, Maryland.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience supporting DoD, IC, or Federal programs.
• Demonstrated expertise in Python, C, or C++.
• Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux environments, including system automation.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a technical field.
• 14+ years of experience in high-complexity software systems.
• Proven experience as a technical lead or mentor.
• Working knowledge of Elasticsearch and Kibana.
