Salary: $82,500 – $132,000

What you will do

• Design and implement advanced operating system techniques for managing virtual systems on x86 architectures.
• Architect and develop scalable container services and Kubernetes platform capabilities integrated with ESXi and vSphere.
• Develop highly available platform infrastructure to support customer workloads across clusters and zones.
• Maintain open source code for security fixes and upstream Kubernetes features.
• Partner with Product Management to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, architects, and test teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, Golang, and Python.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix operating system internals (processes, threads, memory management, I/O).
• Experience leading system software projects or teams.
• Experience architecting distributed software solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, containerization (Docker/containerd), and Kubernetes architecture.

Nice to have

• Experience with one or more hypervisors.
• Experience in Kubernetes configuration and low-level components.
• Experience with one or more cloud platform architectures.
