Senior Forecasting Analyst - Walmart

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day replenishment and execution for the Walmart business.
• Own store in-stock metrics by reviewing daily orders, maintaining purchase orders, and optimizing fill rates.
• Execute direct-import business from Asia in partnership with Customer Service in Hong Kong.
• Develop weekly item- and channel-level shipping plans to support point-of-sale plans and future order needs.
• Partner with sales, retail analysts, buyers, customer service, supply planning, and allocation teams on promotions, fulfillment, and order management.
• Lead CPFR forecasting meetings, present business findings, and support monthly consensus forecasts and S&OP decisions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in sales analysis or merchandise buying and planning.
• Direct replenishment planning experience in a highly seasonal environment with long lead times.
• Experience analyzing large datasets from multiple sources and producing actionable reports.
• Strong analytical, communication, business judgment, and process-improvement skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work in or be based near El Segundo, California, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer packaged goods or retail.
• Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, BigQuery, or other database programs.
• Knowledge of demand forecasting tools such as JDA, SAP, Demantra, or Anaplan.
• Experience with statistical forecasting techniques, systems applications, and model building.
