Quality Lab Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Interpret engineering and industry specifications to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Select and test products for dimensions, performance, mechanical, and electrical characteristics.
• Perform destructive and nondestructive testing on materials to measure performance and life.
• Record and analyze test data, documenting deviations from existing standards.
• Support continuous improvement projects, 6S events, and Layered Process Audits.
• Interact with external customers, inspectors, and auditors as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with wire and cable testing, including fiber optics, flame, electrical, and mechanical tests.
• Strong technical skills, analytical ability, and high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms with engineers and customers.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in a chemical or mechanical discipline.
