SMA Wire Technician (Weekend Day Shift - Onsite)

Location: On-site at the Acton, Massachusetts facility, United States. Weekend day shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

Annual base salary: $18.16–$27.24, with possible incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on automated production equipment.
• Maintain raw-material feeds, clear equipment faults and stoppages, and use HMIs to correct process-control deviations.
• Prepare materials, track jobs, and use computer systems for inventory and quality-management processes.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and measure machinery and products to maintain process stability and quality.
• Follow specifications, work orders, SOPs, material-handling procedures, packaging requirements, and shipment-preparation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions while meeting FDA 21 CFR, ISO 13495, and cGMP standards.

Requirements

• On-site work at the Acton, MA facility is required.
• Proficiency in English is required for reading documentation, communication, and writing.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automated machines, tools, repair, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of raw materials, measurement instruments, production processes, and quality control.
• Basic arithmetic, algebra, or geometry skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Ability to stand for at least 75% of each shift, walk for at least 50%, push and pull, and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Experience assembling, debugging, and optimizing discrete component assembly processes.
