What you will do

• Lead regulatory licensing and compliance for satellite operations, including NOAA and FCC requirements.
• Manage the Export Control & Trade Compliance program, ensuring adherence to EAR and ITAR regulations.
• Develop export classifications, licensing strategies, and Technology Control Plans.
• Partner with engineering, mission operations, and legal teams to integrate compliance into the product lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary advisor for international collaborations, technology transfers, and foreign national access.
• Monitor emerging regulatory requirements and advise leadership on business impacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Physics, International Trade, Business, or Law.
• 8+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, satellite, or highly regulated industries.
• Demonstrated experience administering EAR and ITAR compliance programs.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual due to export control laws.
• Experience classifying hardware, software, and technical data under U.S. export regulations.
• Ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, legal, and executive leadership teams.
