What you will do

• Partner with internal teams to design, build, and maintain features that connect users through gaming across desktop and mobile.
• Expand and safeguard the collection of games and game-related metadata.
• Collaborate with Content, Marketing, and ML teams to improve ranking and discovery systems.
• Engage with game studios and partners to address challenges and provide rich experiences for players.
• Work closely with Engineers, Designers, Product Owners, and Data Scientists to iterate on user interactions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a fullstack software engineer.
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and Python or other modern programming languages.
• Experience leading projects, gathering requirements, and mentoring others.
• Ability to switch between different technical stacks and learn new ones.
• Track record of shipping incremental and delightful features.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Nice to have

• Strong passion for gaming.
• Games industry experience (Game Studio, Developer, or DevOps).
• Experience working on developer platforms or tooling.
• Experience with mobile native stacks (iOS/Swift/Obj-C or Android/Java/Kotlin).
