What you will do

• Register patients and schedule appointments and surgeries for medical imaging services via phone.
• Verify patient identification, demographic information, and insurance coverage.
• Process point-of-service payments and provide payment estimates for out-of-pocket costs.
• Enter patient data accurately into hospital information systems.
• Educate patients and families on using registration kiosks and online systems.
• Collaborate with the Lead Patient Access Concierge to identify and escalate routine issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, insurance company, or healthcare financial setting.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security Disability, and other governmental billing processes.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical record coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
