What you will do

• Lead the development and implementation of the EMI/EMC strategy for the SRS scope, ensuring alignment with project objectives and standards.
• Define and allocate EMI/EMC requirements to relevant systems, subsystems, and interfaces.
• Review equipment designs to identify EMC risks and define necessary mitigation measures.
• Coordinate EMC analyses, assessments, and testing activities, tracking non-conformities to closure.
• Act as the primary interface for EMC coordination with traction power, signalling, and communications teams.
• Provide technical guidance to design and engineering teams on EMI/EMC best practices.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Electrical/Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering.
• 15+ years’ experience in EMI/EMC on rail/transit or comparable complex systems.
• Proven experience with EMC standards, modelling, mitigation, and testing.
• Experience coordinating EMC requirements across signalling, traction power, OCS, and communications.
• Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada.
