What you will do

• Write and break news stories for digital platforms including the website and app.
• Research and produce original journalism with high accuracy standards.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team, including live blogging.
• Handle and edit copy from correspondents.
• Maintain high editorial standards under pressure and tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK is mandatory.
• Proven track record in writing and producing stories for recognized news organizations.
• NCTJ training or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of media law.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and overnights.
• Excellent judgment for identifying top news lines.
