Salary: £41,200 - £57,000 (plus Channel Island weighting of £5,319/annum for full-time)

What you will do

• Generate, research, and develop high-impact investigations and original in-depth stories.
• Produce high-quality multiplatform content for online, social media, TV, radio, and Sounds.
• Own stories from inception to delivery, managing logistical, legal, and editorial risks.
• Collaborate with news planning and the hirify.global's broader investigations teams.
• Travel across the Channel Islands, including Guernsey, Jersey, Alderney, and Sark.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing complex stories and high-impact investigations.
• Strong online writing skills and storytelling flair across multiple platforms.
• Proficiency in self-shooting and editing using FCPX.
• Thorough knowledge of the Channel Islands and a robust network of local contacts.
• Must possess the required Guernsey residential qualification.
• Detailed knowledge of hirify.global editorial and social media guidelines.
