What you will do

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with close timelines.
• Oversee general ledger operations, including SAP maintenance and ad-hoc reporting for FP&A and Production Finance.
• Manage the account reconciliation tool (Blackline) and provide training to offshore team members.
• Coordinate quarter-end close deliverables and prepare balance sheet variance commentary for leadership.
• Partner with Program Finance and Tax regarding production tax credit filings and balance sheet classifications.
• Drive process improvement initiatives, including the transition to SAP S/4 and Blackline optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ years in public accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial accounting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query).
• Experience with global ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• Ability to work on-site in Stamford, CT at least four days per week.

Nice to have

• CPA License.
• Media industry experience.
• Working knowledge of AOE and Blackline systems.
