Senior Electronics Engineer (Intercom)

Location: Hybrid role based at the Lund HQ Campus, Lund, Sweden

What you will do

• Contribute to roadmap planning and drive future hardware technology choices.
• Lead feasibility studies, prototyping, debugging, and early product development activities.
• Design intercom products, including schematics, component selection, and BOM management, while balancing quality, manufacturability, cost, and performance.
• Lead design reviews, coordinate technical activities, and maintain engineering documentation.
• Plan and execute testing and verification for functional and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with software, mechanics, testing, quality, industrialization, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to deliver product milestones.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing hardware products from concept and schematic design through verification, production, and maintenance.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines, influence technical decisions, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Proactive ownership of complex technical challenges and high-quality delivery.
• Fluent English required; basic Swedish proficiency required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Nice to have

• Experience with camera sensors, display technologies, NFC, or other reader technologies.
• Knowledge of EMC, RED, and safety certification processes.
• Experience with Xpedition, Windchill, EMS manufacturing, supplier collaboration, or full product lifecycle management.
