What you will do

• Modernize the existing data platform and pipelines using Snowflake and Databricks.
• Build reusable tooling and frameworks to automate financial data ingestion and quality assurance.
• Design and implement scalable data models to support diverse business use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet technical and business requirements.
• Prototype agentic AI workflows to automate pipeline monitoring and adaptation.
• Optimize operational efficiency to reduce manual intervention and support costs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and advanced SQL.
• Mandatory experience with Databricks and Apache Spark for large-scale processing.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Practical knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude in daily workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic AI frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Knowledge of streaming data processing (Kafka, Kinesis, or Flink).
• Exposure to financial data types such as pricing, benchmarks, and corporate actions.
• Familiarity with metadata catalogs and data contract patterns.
