What you will do

• Develop and implement new web applications to support the NASA SEWP program.
• Enhance and maintain Java web-based applications with a focus on usability and performance.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, coding, and production launch.
• Perform peer code reviews and comprehensive application testing.
• Collaborate with developers, database administrators, and internal stakeholders.
• Document system designs and requirements to ensure maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience developing Java applications.
• 1+ years of experience writing SQL queries (Oracle preferred).
• 1+ years of experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with data interchange formats including JSON and XML.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with JSP and/or Spring.
• Full stack experience including front-end web development (JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
