Energy Test Means Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid work where possible.

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and continuously improve integration rigs and industrial test facilities for electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aircraft systems.
• Design and commission test setups, including preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Define and execute test procedures based on Laboratory Test Requirements, applying pass/fail criteria and preparing official test reports.
• Analyze validation data for compliance with MIL-STD-704, DO-160, and AMD-24 standards.
• Coordinate test activities and campaigns, including Kick-Off and TRR events, with Design Offices, Procurement, and Quality.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, Product Regulatory Compliance, and Export Control requirements, including ITAR/EAR.

Requirements

• Industrial or Aeronautical Engineering degree, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in testing engineering, validation, and verification focused on aircraft integration rigs or test benches.
• Experience with control and data acquisition hardware, including National Instruments and Beckhoff.
• Experience with LabVIEW, VeriStand, and DIAdem scripting or software development.
• Advanced or negotiation-level English and Spanish are required.
• Proactive, structured, results-oriented communication and coaching skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with interconnection wiring or hands-on bench assembly.
• Knowledge of German, French, or Italian.
