What you will do

• Lead system design and infrastructure projects within cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and data automation systems.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality.
• Collaborate with Product and domain experts to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
• Improve the codebase through refactoring, documentation, and automation.
• Experiment with new technologies to support feature development and product innovation.

Requirements

• Must be based in London for hybrid work model.
• Strong experience as a Senior IC Engineer leading system design and infrastructure discussions.
• Hands-on experience designing data flows from persistent storage to API endpoints.
• Proficiency in Python and web frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
• Strong experience delivering APIs and working with Service Oriented Architecture.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
