What you will do
- Design, build, and operate backend services using Kotlin and Python for core trading workflows and client-facing APIs.
- Develop high-volume services for order management, market data processing, and trade lifecycle handling.
- Implement and maintain REST APIs and WebSocket streams for real-time account and price updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product, frontend, and trading teams to implement new platform features.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and low latency of trading services through rigorous testing and observability.
- Contribute to technical architecture and maintain clean, maintainable code.
Requirements
- Professional experience building backend services, preferably in Kotlin and/or Python.
- Proven track record of designing REST APIs; experience with WebSockets or NATS/JetStream is a plus.
- Proficiency with SQL and integration of internal or third-party services.
- Strong understanding of performance fundamentals, latency management, and event-driven systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS environments.
